A very warm welcome and introduction to Inclusion at Ludwick.
Ludwick is a fully inclusive setting where our environment and practice reflects the needs of our learners. Our aim is to work closely with our families in order to quickly identify and effectively support needs in order to help all of our children excel at Ludwick and beyond. We are proud of our holistic, child-centred approach and the inclusive community in which we are based. We have a highly experienced team of staff at Ludwick who are experienced in supporting and working alongside children with a wide variety of needs.
We recognise that when there are concerns around how a child is developing, it can be a very worrying time for parents and carers. All staff warmly encourage parents or carers to talk to us at the earliest possible opportunity if there is anything that is of concern and we strive to work closely with families and do all we can to help during a child’s journey at Ludwick.
At Ludwick, we have an experienced Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, Claire Turner. Claire is a qualified teacher and a member of our Senior Leadership Team. She works in close partnership with the Ludwick community, and beyond to continually drive outstanding inclusive practice.
You can contact Claire via the school office or email her

Adapted provision : Yellow Group
Yellow Group at Ludwick. We are proud to offer expert support for up to ten children with social communication needs in our Yellow Group. Many of the children in this group either have or may need an EHCP. We are highly experienced with the EHCP process and work in close partnership with parents where a plan is needed. An EHCP ensures that a child’s needs are met fully and they can access the support that they are entitled to as they progress through their education journey.
Our Yellow Group is led by Angela Goonetilleke ( Assistant Headteacher ). Angela is a highly experienced teacher and SENCO.
Angela is supported by a team of specialist practitioners: specialist learning support assistant Nicki Bardle, Kazu Morishita Dubois and Floreta Mrishraj. Our team are highly skilled in developing children’s early social and communication needs.
Our children in Yellow group have their own base room (The Hive) where they have a bespoke start and end to their session. They are fully immersed in our mainsteam provision throughout the rest of the session.
